Our Heart
The Rock Church is a place where people are fed, nourished and cared for through the love and grace of Jesus Christ. It is our heavenly Father’s heart for every believer to be planted in a local church where they can grow and flourish in every aspect of life. God never created us to do life alone. Through the preaching of the gospel of the grace of God, there is a good and abundant life for everyone.
At The Rock Church, we are devoted to the preaching of the gospel of Jesus Christ, to fellowship, to partaking of the Holy Communion, and to prayer (Acts 2:42). We are purposeful and intentional about serving and caring for all ages - adults, young adults, teens and children.
We believe that we are ambassadors for Christ and that we are called to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ to our community, city, nation and the world.
Our Leadership
Craig Hendrieck is our lead pastor and has been serving in full-time ministry for more than two decades. After obtaining a Bachelor of Arts in Pastoral Leadership in 2003, Pastor Craig spent 7 years ministering in and serving local churches around South Africa.
Thereafter, in 2010, Pastor Craig planted The Rock Church. Pastor Craig is passionate about establishing the church in the gospel of grace and seeing every believer reign in life through Jesus Christ.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
Pastors Jason Cogill and Rodney Basson serve faithfully alongside Pastor Craig Hendrieck.
We also have a team of deacons who have been appointed to serve and care for our church.
